Fokussiert auf die Fotografie und Foto-Sharing ist Photovine ein Social-Networking-Service und eine Foto-Sharing-Community, so die Vorankündigung.
Laut Photovine werden die Fotosammlungen die durch Community-Mitglieder erstellt werden als "Vines" bezeichnet, www.photovine.com, 12.07.11.
